Our Mission

Rodz Dance Studio's Guarantees To You...

  • 3 dance studios with full barre in each (We will be expanding our studio in 2020 to add an additional studio. This new studio will be over 4,000 square feet and will be used for our competitive and pointe classes.)
  • ​Classes available to boys and girls ages 3 and up in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and acro.​
  • ​An annual recital at the Paul Poag Theatre to let our dancers show off their hard work and gain performance experience.
  • Opportunities offered exclusively to our dancers, such as a yearly Master Ballet class with Valery Lantratov, former principal dancer with Russia's Bolshoi Ballet!
  • Mrs. Rod has a Bachelors of Science in Dance from Texas Women's University and is certified to teach dance in the State of Texas.
  • Multiple instructors collectively with decades of experience dancing and teaching.
  • Mrs. Rod as well as multiple other instructors have directed & choreographed dance teams, ensembles, and soloists to multiple championships. They have also had may students accepted into college dance programs and collegiate dance teams.
  • ​Staff that continuously seeks enrichment to help them become better teachers. *Several staff members will be taking corses this summer to become certified in Acrobatic Arts. This will take our acro program to the next level!
  • ​A progressive dance teaching approach that covers proper technique and alignment as well as strength and flexibility to avoid injury and longterm issues caused from improver dance training.

Our Mission is to provide dance instruction that safely pushes dancers to their limits and beyond in strength, flexibility, technique, performance, and work ethic so that they may become the best dancers that they can be.

Rodz Dance Studio is a place where people who love to dance can come to be their very best. All of our classes are built on establishing correct form and technical terminology of all styles of dance. Dance is a fine art and we strive to help our dancers appreciate it. Our greatest satisfaction is seeing the light and spark of fire in a students eyes when they execute a step correctly, and seeing their hunger to learn more and become better. We hope that the lessons and values we instill upon our dancers will help them in all aspects of life and in their futures, no matter what they chose to do
